CLIENT: Sister driving, and brother and brother’s wife all having been injured by oncoming driver
PROBLEM: Oncoming driver in snow storm slipped directly into clients’ lane of travel and hit them head on. Driver was inadequately insured only up to $50,000 per person. Client driver had a crushed foot and brother’s wife had a broken back. The broken back injuries were the most serious. Brother also was injured.
SOLUTION: Mr. Bushman filed suit and was able to consolidate all cases as all parties had same insurer. Mr. Bushman obtained insurance coverage from the opposing driver as well as coverage from the client driver insurance as well as from the brother’s wife’s insurance. For the client driver Mr. Bushman obtained the opposing driver’s insurance coverage as well as the client’s driver’s insurance coverage. Coverage was also available for the brother’s smaller claim.
AWARD: Settlement without trial for $200,000.00 for the brother’s wife’s broken back claim and $150,000.00 for client driver’s crushed foot claim.
