CLIENT: Local student nurse
PROBLEM: After completing the course curriculum at a local trade school for nurse training, taking the requirements of her initial curriculum the client, student nurse, was denied graduation because she had not complied with taking the proper credits the school required by the end of the student program. The school had not notified the client of changes to the curriculum and so she was uninformed as to changes for obtaining the sought for nursing degree.
SOLUTION: Mr. Bushman filed a law suit to obtain refund of the tuition the client had paid plus damages for her time in school. After discovery settlement was reached that the school would refund the client tuition and pay damages for her time involvement. Further, her classes were transferrable to another school.
AWARD: Settlement without trial of refund of tuition and damages for time in school.
